Dairy’s premier global event returns to the United States for the first time in 30 years

 

The International Dairy Federation World Dairy Summit 2023 will gather global dairy leaders, scientific experts, farmers and everyone who embodies what it means to BE Dairy in beautiful Chicago, Illinois, marking a once-in-a-generation opportunity to experience everything the Summit has to offer in one of the United States’ most famous cities.

The Summit will take place October 16-19 and will feature three and a half days of immersive programming offering participants ample opportunity to explore the latest science and most successful practices in dairy, as well as access to an unparalleled community of like-minded colleagues eager to reenergize relationships and build new connections. The Summit will attract more than 1,000 dairy leaders from more than 35 countries – each one offering unique perspectives and expertise that will enrich the Summit experience.

Under the theme “BE Dairy: Boundless Potential. Endless Possibilities.” Summit participants can take advantage of top-notch plenary and technical sessions as well as technical tours while also experiencing Chicago’s cultural landmarks, culinary scene and entertainment.

Content will include can’t-miss sessions on economic drivers for the decade ahead, dairy’s contributions to sustainable food systems and nourishing the world, global standards and trade, sustainability and market dynamics. In the much-anticipated Global Leaders Forum, dairy leaders will discuss how their organizations are employing new approaches to meeting today’s challenges while also charting a path toward a prosperous future.

With Chicago’s world-class architecture and waterfront location as the backdrop, Summit participants will also experience the best of U.S. culture and entertainment, plus easy access to some of the United States’ famed dairy producing regions. From an electric welcome reception at the famed House of Blues to a spectacular gala at the world-renowned Field Museum, Summit participants will make lifelong memories and build lasting connections.
