We are looking for a creative and talented content creator to join our team and help us grow our engagement towards our membership as well as our online presence and engage our audience with compelling and innovative content. Role Summary

The role of the Content Creator will be responsible for translating the technical and scientific work of the Federation into high-quality, engaging content across various platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, e-mail campaigns, internal communication material and other digital channels. This role requires a mix of creativity, strong writing skills, and a good understanding of digital marketing trends. The Content Creator also follows up the internal communications and publications planner.

The selected person will also be required to live tweet, report in real time and do live streaming on different platforms. Videomaking and video-editing will also be an important part of the role. The person will report to the Communications Manager.

The Content Creator will:

  • Develop content: Create and produce engaging written, visual and multimedia content that aligns with our brand voice and objectives.
  • Be responsible for writing, editing, proofreading, designing and putting in layout IDF publications.
  • Manage Social Media: Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness.
  • Handle SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is search engine optimized and drives organic traffic.
  • Manage Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Take care of Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics and provide insights to optimize future content.
  • Assist in the organization of Webinars and other IDF events.
  • Manage the Content Calendar: Maintain and manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the scientific and technical team, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective content strategies.

 

 Desired profile

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 – 5 years of professional marketing or communications experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Full command of English speaking and writing skills (native English speaker preferred) with a keen eye for detail; other languages spoken in any of our 40 membership countries, a plus.
  • Proficiency in creating various types of content, including internal articles, blog posts, social media posts, videos and infographics.
  • Knowledge of publishing principles and basics of publication design, layout and editing.
  • Knowledge of production methodology for publishing products in hardcopy or electronic formats (Creative Adobe).
  • Experience in web editing and knowledge of Content Management Systems (Canva, InDesign), knowledge of different social media channels and managing programmes (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Sprout Social), community management and online analysis tools.
  • Experience with videomaking and editing is a plus.
  • A strong team player, empathic, with good interpersonal skills, including a dynamic and flexible attitude, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to multitask and to work with tight and simultaneous deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and new challenges.

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of professional marketing or communications experience.
  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Proficiency (Native or bilingual) in English; other languages from our 40 member countries are a plus.
  • Content Creation: Ability to produce various types of content, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, videos, and infographics.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with publication design, layout, and editing, as well as web editing and Content Management Systems (Canva, InDesign). Experience with social media channels and tools (e.g., X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Sprout Social) is essential.
  • Videomaking: Experience with videomaking and editing is highly desirable.

Project Officer with strong interest in the agricultural/food sector

Position
  • You are part of a cross-functional and international team where you play a crucial role in supporting the Science & Standards Programme Manager (PM) by coordinating and managing various projects and events, linking a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You facilitate the development of standards for methods of analysis and sampling for milk and milk products:
  • You are in charge of organizing meetings, preparing and sharing agendas and supporting documents, in conjunction with leadership experts, and relevant partner organizations (ISO)
  • You will take on a project management role and coordinating activities and facilitating smooth operations. You support and steer selected projects and events. You coordinate the development of relevant IDF publications, as well as the consultations of the dairy experts on work from other organizations
  • You ensure the development of joint IDF/ISO standard for methods of analysis, including the collaboratives studies and that their statistical analyses is done in a consistent manner according to the IDF/ISO procedures.
  • You are in charge of redeveloping and managing the IDF Dairy Laboratories database.
  • You monitor activities from relevant international organizations to identify adequate action within IDF in consultation with the relevant Programme Manager.
  • You communicate developments on an on-going basis to other IDF staff colleagues, IDF experts and IDF members.
  • As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you may provide support to other team members in other fields of work (other standards, safety, nutrition, …),
  • You coordinate the IDF technical webinar series.
  • You report directly to the Science and Standards Programme Manager.
Profile
  • You have a Master’s degree in food science or a related field (biochemistry, microbiology, statistics, technology, …).
  • You speak and write English fluently. Other language(s) can be an asset.
  • Your open and humble attitude and excellent communication skills enable you to connect with different stakeholders from various cultures.
  • You have great organizational skills. As a flexible and dynamic team player you are able to work in a cross-functional and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks with the ability of working under pressure.
