IDF awards evaluation process
The IDF Awards evaluation process is designed to be fair, transparent, and aligned with global sustainability goals. Each submission is assessed across multiple categories and variables using a standardized four-level scoring system. This years evaluation period will take place between 9 July and 4 August (extended through 10 August due to the large number of entries).
Evaluation criteria
| Variable | Description |
|---|---|
| Innovation | Originality and value added to the dairy sector. |
| Scalability | Potential for replication and broader implementation. |
| Partnership | Level of collaboration and stakeholder engagement. |
| Global Agenda | Alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). |
| Evidence | Availability of data and documentation to support impact. |
Scoring levels
Level 2: Some innovation, scalable components, strategic alliances, SDG-aligned actions, secondary data.
Level 3: Innovative and replicable, formal agreements, aligned with SDGs and local plans, primary data available.
Level 4: Disruptive innovation, global scalability, integrated partnerships, systemic SDG impact, robust monitoring and evaluation.
Transparency and integrity
All entries are reviewed by an independent panel of experts. The evaluation framework ensures consistency and objectivity, with each criterion scored independently and aggregated for final decisions.
