Local investment for Global Good: Building Dairy Value Chains – N4G official side event

DATE: March 26, 2025

Malnutrition, in all its forms, affects 3 billion people globally, contributing to $3 trillion in lost productivity each year. Dairy systems can play a key role in addressing this crisis, and research shows that local dairy systems in countries like Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania can prevent millions of cases of childhood stunting by 2050.

This event will explore how investing in dairy can improve nutrition, health, and overall food security while driving economic growth and creating resilient food systems.

Event Highlights: A comprehensive program showcasing the potential of dairy to combat malnutrition and contribute to improved livelihoods.  Insights into public-private partnerships, including Dairy Nourishes Africa and regional school feeding.
