ICAR plenary highlights on World Milk Day

This year’s theme for World Milk Day was Climate Action, and IDF Director General, Caroline Emond presented at the ICAR plenary on June 1st where several elements were showcased regarding climate change. The presentation conveyed the work that is being done within IDF and the dairy sector such as the Pathways to Dairy Net Zero Initiative, as well as the upcoming revised LCA methodology soon to be released.

Also during the event, Harrie Van Den Bijgaart, IDF Board member and Manager of Innovation & Business Development at Qlip B.V. won an award at the ICAR plenary for the ICAR award for outstanding work in International Milk Testing Standards Harmonization – networker between ISO, IDF, ICAR and many other national and international organizations and institutions.
