The International Dairy Federation (IDF) is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Poster Competition, recognized during an award ceremony held during the IDF World Dairy Summit 2025 in Santiago. This year’s competition showcased outstanding research and innovation across eight categories, reflecting the diversity and dynamism of the global dairy sector.
Posters were judged based on compliance with specifications, relevance to IDF’s areas of interest, and originality of results.

Safety & Quality – Microbiology: Dr. Marion Dalmasso (France)
Farm Management and Labor: Dr. Luis García Covarrubias (United States)
Dairy Processing and Technology: Ms. Aimi Tanaka (Japan)
Animal Health, Nutrition, and Welfare: Dr. Nicolás Pizarro Aranguiz (Chile)
Marketing and Economics: Dr. Glauco Carvalho (Brazil)
Environment and Sustainability: Mr. Christian Zscherpe (Germany)
Safety & Quality – Chemistry and Composition: Prof. Inga Ciprovica (Latvia)
The Best Overall Poster was awarded to Mr. Terunaga Shinya, receiving a price of €1,000 and the opportunity to deliver a synopsis of his work during the ceremony.
