Portugal joins the International Dairy Federation

The International Dairy Federation (IDF) is pleased to welcome Portugal as a new member of its global network of National Committees. Portugal’s membership further strengthens IDF’s European presence and enriches the Federation’s science‑based work across the dairy value chain. Portugal’s National Committee will be invited to nominate experts to IDF Standing Committees and to contribute actively to IDF’s governance, scientific, and technical activities. Early engagement will focus on onboarding to IDF tools and platforms, alignment on priority topics, and participation in upcoming meetings. Through this collaboration, Portugal will support and contribute to IDF’s work on sustainability, animal health and welfare, nutrition, food safety, and international standards, reinforcing IDF’s mission to provide authoritative, science‑based guidance for the global dairy sector. Sejam bem‑vindos!
